This means that Baidu’s C2C e-commerce business Baidu Youah ended in failure.
Baidu Youah was officially launched on October 28, 2008. I remember once boasting that it would defeat Taobao within three years. Now, three years later, Youa’s market share is only 0.1%, and it has fallen out of the top ten e-commerce websites.
After Baidu Youah closes , its mall business will be transferred to partners such as Lekutian. Baidu has announced to buyers and sellers that buyers can directly log in to Lekutian to activate their accounts through their original Baidu user ID and password, and it also recommends sellers to migrate to Lekutian and Yaodian 100. Baidu has launched corresponding preferential policies and activities to encourage buyers and sellers to migrate to Lekutian and Yaodian 100.
Yes, shutting it down will have no impact on us or the network. Even with its 0.1% impact, the impact will be minimal. However, it is still a gratifying thing to let Baidu fail in e-commerce. How can you be invincible by despising your opponent and magnifying your own strength?
